About the Artist...

Hello! Once just a small stained glass shop located in Auburn, Indiana, my operation has since moved to the heart of
Asheville, NC, one of the top 10 fine arts cities in the country. Situated in the beautiful mountains of western
North Carolina, having incredible new ideas and inspirations developing here as well as expanding my audience
through a bigger, artistic network.
My stained glass speciality is bevels and dichroic glass. I have the
destinction of being only 1 of only a handful of customers at CBS dichroics that on a regular basis has
architectual stained glass textures coated with dichroics. Textures like crocro, glue chip, thin reed and flute just
to name a few. Also laminating float dichroics to jewels, bevels and bevel clusters for an even more unique dichroic
effect. From time to time teaching stained glass and fusing. I've also taught a great deal of folks and many have
gone off to start their own professional endeavors including several folks who now make a business fusing and
selling on ebay. I have traveled as far as St.Louis Missouri to Cleveland Ohio to teach fusing and now am working
on an internet teaching fusing course.

Colorblind???
Now how about hearing something that may be unusual. Many folks do not know that I am almost totally colorblind! Yes in
fact it is 87% and that was determined when in the service. In the medical exam you given 100 color dot tests , and
I had 13 right so that means 87% colorblind. Now comes part 2 about color. I also have "synesthesia" which you may
have heard about on the discovery channel. It is called the mixing of senses where not all your senses like taste and
hearing etc. are clearly defined or separated. I can color music, voices and even the alphabet. Look it up on the internet
and maybe you even have it. Ya never know as I did not know much about it till up 8 years ago. I see color combinations
that others do not and have a unique sense when it comes to colors I cannot see but "FEEL".

Stained Glass
I design most of my own stained glass patterns but from time to time I may adapt a pattern. My new area of interest is
in abstracts. I love the play of the fluid look with straight lines and angles. Some flavor of Frank Lyoyd Wright with
comtempary colors and of course dichroic glass. It is an extremely intriguing combination to say the least! If you go
to my Stained Glass Gallery you will see many examples of glass using dichroic glass as
well as conventional textures and colors. I welcome custom orders and can ship all over the USA for a reasonable rate.
